We will focus on body movement, finishing your lines, and musical expression! About your instructors: Jess (@jessgoytizolo) is a physical therapist and dance artist with roots in competitive dancing, classical training in ballet and contemporary, and a background in competitive gymnastics. She’s been immersed in movement from a young age and brings over two decades of experience to her craft. In 2023, she began her journey into bachata, blending her technical foundation with a love for musicality, body awareness, and expressive styling. With a background in sensual bachata and certifications from international artists Jorge & Aroa, Jess brings a passion for helping others feel powerful in their bodies. She creates safe, encouraging spaces where students can build confidence, explore their artistry, and connect through movement. Her approach is grounded, fluid, and always rooted in joy. Polly (@pollymadance) has a diverse background in dance, with training in contemporary, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop. She performs, competes, and teaches pole dancing, and in 2024, she began her bachata journey. Polly enjoys drawing influence from all of her dance styles, blending technical foundations with musicality and movement quality. Tien (@tientrandance) comes with 8+ years of experience in Bboying and Hip-Hop, and 6+ years in Bachata, along with stints in salsa, kizomba, and zouk. For Tien, dancing comes from the heart and soul first. His style focuses on staying true to yourself and expressing yourself with intention and utilizing movement that best showcases your individuality. “The best dancer in the room is the one having the most fun!” |
